Company History

hadewe GmbH is a family company, that was found in 1967 by Herbert Menzel. We are manifacturers of micro-motor handpieces and complete devices. These handpieces are used for milling, grinding, engraving and similar applications.

When Mr. Menzel started the company over 30 years ago, these drills were mainly used for the dental industry, to which we still supply today. Now we have expanded our program with machines for the cosmetics, othoplastic & hearing aid, as well as in gold & juwellery works and several other fields.

Our main market today are the podiatry/chiropody and nail design industries. We have been producing this equipment for decades, and are market leader in many European countries. In Germany, hadewe handpieces have been sold through Gerlach Gehwohl for several years, and we now continue to successfully support the German market on our own by delivering to selected distributors all over the country. On the internet, we are not only shown at www.hadewe.de, but also at the main German branch domain for podiatry / chiropody www.fusspflege.de hadewe is now managed by Chris and Stephan Menzel. Both have been in the company many years, and continue the work their father has begun.
